NOTES TO KNOW
• UVA Wise has won 2-of-3 in at Lincoln Memorial entering the game. All-time, the Cavaliers are 3-8 in Harrogate, Tenn.
• With nine points and eight assists at Winston-Salem State, fifth-year Caitlyn Ross continues to make school and conference history. The guard now ranks eighth in program history with 1,503 points and sits 54 points behind Nia Vanzant for the NCAA Division II era program scoring record. Ross' 733 assists are the most in UVA Wise history and ranks third in South Atlantic Conference history.
• UVA Wise grabbed 18 offensive rebounds in Monday's 53-51 loss at Winston-Salem State. It marked the sixth time this winter the Cavs have corralled at least 15 offensive rebounds. Entering Wednesday, Jamie Cluesman's team ranks No. 16 nationally in rebound margin at +8.3 per game.
• Off to a 10-1 start overall, LMU is in the midst of its best start to a season since winning 20 consecutive games to open the 2016-17 campaign.
• Behind the SAC's second-best scoring defense, LMU's scoring margin of +16.4 leads the league and ranks No. 16 nationally. The Railsplitters have won seven games by double digits this season.
• The 'Splitters are a perfect 4-0 inside Tex Turner Arena this season. LMU's last home defeat came in last year's regular season finale, a 69-62 setback to UVA Wise.
• Graduate student Jordan Maney leads a trio of LMU players averaging double-figure scoring this winter. The 5-foot-10 forward is scoring 15 points per game while  shooting 48.9 percent from the field.
• LMU is ranked No. 18 in the latest D2CSC Top 25, UVA Wise has defeated at least one ranked team in three of the last four seasons.
