TIPOFF TIDBITS - EMORY & HENRY
- Thompson's Emory & Henry crew have steadily crawled up the mountain division leaderboard after winning four straight league games against Mars Hill, Tusculum, Coker, and Anderson to grab a 6-8 record.
- In their most recent matchup, Emory & Henry suffered their second loss of the season against No. 8 Lincoln Memorial by 14 last Wednesday. Jake Moynihan led the Wasps with 21 points by the end of the contest, and even led his team to an early 13-6 lead in the first four minutes of play before the Railsplitters let loose.
- As a team, the Wasps have turnover trouble - averaging 14.8 per game as the worst in the conference.
On the other hand, the Cavaliers have the least trouble with turnovers - averaging a conference-best 12 turnovers a game.

- The Cavaliers weren't able to seal the deal against Wingate on Saturday, falling by a 12-point margin.
- Lawson led the Cavaliers with 24 points and made seven three-pointers in the effort. While Bradley Dean only hit one three-ball, he snagged 23 points including nine shots from the field. Dean also added a team-high nine rebounds.
- Wingate took control towards the middle half of the second half, going on a 22-7 run led by a Jaren Cottingham three-pointer that put the Dogs ahead by a score of 69-51.
- This game will be crucial for the Cavs - a win would push their way to second place behind Lincoln Memorial in the division.
