NOTES TO KNOW
• UVA Wise has out rebounded each of its first six opponents and enters Monday's game +12.8 in rebounding margin. The number leads the South Atlantic Conference.
• Fifth-year 
Caitlyn Ross continues to climb up the career leaderboards at UVA Wise. Ross has 1,347 points just 30 points shy of current assistant coach Kalee Johnson for 11th on the school's all-time scoring list. Ross' 673 assists are the most in school history and are the third most in SAC history.
• Junior forward 
Katlin Burger has been the team's most consistent scoring threat over the last three games. Burger is averaging 19.3 points per game over the stretch and is coming off a season-high 21 point outburst at Limestone Saturday.
• Freshman 
Jalie Ruehling is coming off the best rebounding game of any Cavalier this season. the 5-foot-5 guard grabbed 14 rebounds, including seven on the offensive end Saturday.
• Head Coach 
Jamie Cluesman has a pair of wins over her alma mater in five tries. However, the former Concord point guard has never beaten the Mountain Lions in Wise. UVA Wise is 0-2 against Concord at the Prior Center under Cluesman.
• Since starting the year 0-2, the Mountain Lions have won 4-of-5. The good play includes a 70-57 win over nationally ranked West Virginia State.
• Concord has three players averaging double figures, led by 6-foot-2 sophomore Abbie Smith's 14.1 points per game.
• UVA Wise is 0-2 at home, the team has not begun a year 0-3 at home since moving to the Prior Center in 2011. The team began the 2006-07 season 0-5 at home while playing in Greear Gymnasium.
