NOTES TO KNOW
• Fifth-year Caitlyn Ross is the reigning South Atlantic Conference Player Of The Week. The guard turned in the third triple double of her career with 15 points, 11 rebounds and 12 assists in a 73-57 win over Newberry Saturday en route to the honor.
• Ross continues to make her mark on the UVA Wise and SAC record books. Her 1,382 points are the 11th most in school history while her 693 assists are a UVA Wise record. The 693 assists are the third most in conference history.
• Junior Katlin Burger has scored in double figures in five consecutive games. The forward is averaging 14 points per game while shooting 46 percent from the floor.
• The Cavaliers have yet to be out rebounded in a game this winter. UVA Wise ranks second in the league in rebound margin at +10.7.
• Sharing the basketball has spurred UVA Wise's recent two-game winning streak. In the two wins, the Cavs have tallied 46 assists to aid an effort that has seen the team average a league-leading 17.6 assists per game.  
• Freshman Sarah Burton poured in 21 points while making 4-of-8 triples in the win over Newberry. It was the second 20-point performance of the season for the guard.
• Emory & Henry has a quartet of players averaging at least five rebounds per game. Sophomore Breanna Yarber leads the team at 5.8 rebounds per game, the forward is also the team's top  scorer at 14.9 points a night.
•This will be the 20th all-time meeting between UVA Wise and Emory & Henry but, just the third in over three decades. The Cavs have won both meetings since the two schools joined the SAC, meaning the Wasps have not tasted victory in the rivalry since 1984.
