CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - - Jada Guinn led a trio of Mocs in double-figure scoring with 17 points as UT-Chattanooga scored a 75-62 win over UVA Wise at McKenzie Arena Saturday. UVA Wise opened the game on a 7-to-1 run behind the play of Katlin Burger. The junior scored four points in the game's opening three minutes. It was the start of a big day for the Walland, Tenn. product who netted a game-high 21 points.

Jamie Cluesman's team would hold the lead until the final minute of the opening quarter A layup by UTC's Raven Thompson gave the hosts a 16-14 lead with 56 ticks showing on the first quarter.

From there, the Mocs would never trail again. UTC would see the lead swell to 18 with 3:03 to play in the opening half on a 3-pointer by Guinn. UVA Wise's Caitlyn Ross would then cap an 8-to-2 scoring spurt to close the half to send the game to intermission with UTC on top 39-27.
