GAME NOTES: UVA WISE HEADS TO GAFFNEY IN SEARCH OF FOURTH LEAGUE WIN

TIP-OFF TIDBITS- LIMESTONE
- The Limestone Saints come into Saturday's matchup with a 3-5 record after snagging a win over Carson-Newman on Wednesday, 73-62. In the matchup, standout Saint Ben Gahlert went off for 27 points and seven rebounds and aided in holding Carson-Newman's offense to only 31.8 from three-point range.
- As a team, Limestone suffers the least amount of turnovers in all of the conference with only 11.7 turnovers a game. Conversely, the Saints struggle under the bucket — ranking in second to last place in boards per game with 32.2.
- The Limestone squad averages 73.8 points per game, while the Cavaliers average 85.3 points per game.

- The Cavaliers travel to Gaffney with spirits high after securing a 106-83 victory over Southwest Virginia foe Emory & Henry on Wednesday in the Prior Center.
- The dynamic duo of Luke Lawson and Bradley Dean were lights out offensively — Lawson tallied a career-high 33 points while Dean pieced together a 28-point show with nine rebounds and four steals.
- This will be the Cavalier's second meeting with the Saints this year. On Dec. 15, 2022, UVA Wise squeezed out a 94-86 win in overtime in the Prior Center with the help of a career-high 40-point performance from Dean.
