PIPESTEM, W.Va. - - The UVA Wise women's golf team finished third in a tri-match Thursday in an event that also featured Glenville State and Concord. Glenville State took home the team title with a score of 328, UVA Wise shot a 350.

Glenville State's Kendall Wall shot a 77 to take home the team title, edging out teammate Libby Ward by two strokes for the honor.

Olivia Baker finished sixth overall to lead Cavalier golfers in the event. The Jonesville, Va. native shot an 86 finishing two strokes ahead of teammates Sarah Arnold, Hanna Damron and Erin Musick who all tied for eighth with a score of 88. Savannah Burdsall finished 12 with a score of 96 to round out UVA Wise golfers in the field.

UVA Wise will be back in action this weekend at the  Alice Lloyd Invitational held in Richmond, Ky.
