UPR Bayamon (0-7) led 6-4 at the 5:30 mark of the opening quarter and from there, things went south for the hosts. UVA Wise (7-3) closed the opening quarter on a 14-to-6 scoring run that featured a pair of 3-pointers from junior Erin Egerbrecht and the Cavs would not be challenged again in the contest.

Ross made history with 4:57 to play in the half when she raced up the floor and dished a bounce pass to Katlin Burger. Burger would put the ball off the backboard and in for Ross' 500th career assist. Ross now stands 27 assists shy of Amber Carter's program record 530. The guard has also joined Carter and Paula Adams as the only players in program history to score at least 1,000 points and dish out 500 or more assists.

The Cavs would lead by 28 on two occasions in the fourth quarter, once on a bucket by freshman Allyson Fleenor and later when sophomore Sable Burnside scored on a Cloey Frantz assist.

UPR Bayamon would close the game on a 17-to-2 run but could never get the game back within single digits.

Warren used the charity stripe to her advantage en route to her career day. The Chesterfield, Va. product sank all eight of her foul shots to lead a team for a 13-for-15 effort for UVA Wise.
