WISE – Men's tennis fell 7-0 to Anderson University Sunday afternoon in the Cavaliers final conference match of the campaign.
At No. 1 doubles, sophomore Jake Ferner and junior Dominic Hoffman paired up for the Cavs (1-14, 0-12 SAC) as the duo fell 6-2 to Anderson's (9-3, 8-3 SAC) Aaron Cabo and Jeffrey Dayton. Senior Coleton Burke and junior Dylan Galenski fell 6-2 to the Trojans Adam Kush and Thomas Smalley at No. 2 while sophomores Connor Giza and John Robert Kilgore fell by the same score at No. 3 doubles.
In singles play, Ferner was defeated at No. 1 by Anderson's Juan Cruz Moncada. Hoffman was swept 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 while Burke fell by the same score at No. 3 to the Trojans Thomas Pudney. At No. 4 singles, Giza fell 8-0 to his opponent as sophomore James Srsich also dropped his match 8-0. Sophomore John Robert Kilgore was topped 6-0, 6-4 by Anderson's Spencer Snow at the No. 5 spot.
