Storylines – vs. Notre Dame College
Notre Dame College enters into Saturday's matchup with a 15-4 Mountain East Conference record, 19-6 overall, and sit in a tie for second place with Fairmont State in current league standings. Tim Koenig's team extended its win streak to six games with their 88-79 win over Concord University Thursday night. The Falcons also picked up a pair of road wins last week against Fairmont State, 90-84, and Glenville State, 106-98. Averaging 86.9 points per game as a team, Notre Dame is led in scoring by senior forward Will Vorhees with his 27.4 points per game ranking him fourth in the nation in NCAA Division II and second in the conference. Junior Larenz Thurman is also a top-10 league scorer, ranking eighth with 18.6 points per contest. Vorhees 11.3 rebounds per contest lead his team and rank him second and eighth in the conference and country, respectively. The Falcons outlasted the Cavaliers in the two team's first meeting of the season with Notre Dame claiming a 97-86 victory. Notre Dame will be on the road for its final two regular season contests taking on nationally-ranked West Liberty Wednesday and Urbana University next Saturday.

Now at a 5-14 mark in the Mountain East Conference, 8-17 overall, the Cavs are tied for the 10th spot in the league with Glenville State as Blake Mellinger's team enters into a pivotal three-game stretch in an effort to return to the conference tournament for back-to-back appearances. Saturday's matchup wraps up the road portion of the schedule with the Cavs returning to Wise for their final two games hosting Charleston on Wednesday and Concord for senior day next Saturday inside the Prior Center.
