Storylines –Concord GameConcord will host its Senior Day when the team welcomes UVa-Wise for the regular season finale Saturday. The team will honor its leading rebounder Kylie Molisee. A six-foot center from Peck, Kansas, Molisee is averaging 9.5 rebounds per game to rank third in the Mountain East Conference. For Molisee to go out as a winner at home, the Mountain Lions will have to stop a seven-game losing streak that has included six losses by double figures. In its first meeting against UVa-Wise, Concord was without the services of its leading scorer Danielle Catron. The former Chilhowie High School standout is scoring 13.6 points per game while making 81 percent of her free throw attempts. The sophomore is averaging 16 points per game over her last four contests, including a pair of 20 + point performances. Like UVa-Wise, Concord will open the MEC Tournament on the road Tuesday.
About UVa-WiseUVa-Wise will find out its opening round MEC Tournament following Saturday's game at Concord. Currently ninth, the Cavaliers can finish no better than their current seeding but a loss could potentially drop
Kristin Kunzman's team to 10th in next week's tournament. With just one road league win under its belt this season, UVa-Wise will be looking to build momentum against a Concord team it handled easily in Wise.  Led by
Blair Harding's game-high 22 points, four Cavs scored in double figures in the win. Harding made six 3-pointers in the win and the Baltimore native enters Saturday's game seemingly having found her shot again after a mid-season slump. The senior is averaging 23 points per game over her last three games while having made 14 3-pointers over the stretch. In an 88-78 loss to West Virginia State Thursday, freshman
Alle Moore turned in one of her stronger games of the season. The Marietta, Ohio product scored 16 points in 21 minutes of play while making eight of 13 field goal attempts. While the team will play on the road in the opening round of the tournament, the club will not be entering unchartered waters. The Cavs have played on the road in each of the last two seasons to begin the tournament and have walked away with victories, including a 77-59 win at Concord in in the opening round of last season's MEC Tournament.
