Storylines – Shepherd University gameShepherd University is coming off of a 62-53 loss to Concord University entering Monday's game against UVa-Wise. In that game, the Rams had
three players finish in double figures. Shepherd was led by Austin Cunningham who finished with a team-high 19 points, three assists and two
steals. Ryan McTavish added 10 points and seven rebounds, while Steffen Davis also finished with 10 points. The Rams shot 32.7 percent from the
floor and went 11-11 from the free throw line against the Mountain Lions. On the season, Morgan McDonald is scoring 15.5 points per game and
pulling down 7.2 rebounds a game to lead Shepherd, while Austin Cunningham is averaging 13.9 points and 4.3 assists per game. The Rams are
scoring 77.5 points per game, while allowing 78.7 from opponents.
About UVa-WiseUVa-Wise is looking to play its final game on the road going in to Monday's game against Shepherd University. Most recently against Fairmont State

Philip Owens II finished with a team-high 18 points and four assists.
Brian Sydnor trailed behind Owens with 15 points and 11 rebounds
for the Cavaliers. UVa-Wise shot 32.7 percent from the floor and 30.4 percent from beyond the arc against the Fighting Falcons. On the season, the
Cavaliers are shooting 36.8 percent from the field and 32.4 percent from beyond the 3-point line. Following the game, UVa-Wise will play its final
regular season game at home on Saturday against Concord University. The final game will be Senior Night where the Cavaliers will honor
