Storylines – West Virginia State game
West Virginia State is coming off of a 82-11 loss to West Liberty enetering Thursdays game against the UVa-Wise Cavaliers.  In that game, the Hilltoppers had two players finish in double figures. West Liberty was led by Zac Grossenbacher who finished with a game-high 19 points and a team-high 10 rebounds. Seger Bonifant assisted Grossenbacher finishing with16 points., while Devin Hoehn, Joe Lococo and Brady Arnold each added nine points.  The Hilltoppers shot 54.3 percent from the floor and 46.4 percent from beyond the arc against Mountain Lions.  On the season, Seger Bonifant is scoring 25.1 points per game and pulling down 4.3 rebounds a game, while CJ Hester is finishing with 15.5  points and 8.6 rebounds per game.   West Liberty is scoring a league-high104.4 points per game.

UVa-Wise will try to end its 21 game losing streak when they play West Virginia State on Thursday.  The Cavaliers remain winless in the Mountain East Conference, having been outscored by Mountain East Confernce competition by nearly 22 points a game.  Philip Owens II finished with a team-high 20 points and four rebounds, while Brain Syndor trailed behind him with 19 points and 10 rebounds for the Cavs in the teams most recent game on Saturday aganist West Liberty. On the season, the Cavaliers are shooting 47.4 percent from the field and 36.4 percent from beyond the 3-point line. Following the game, UVa-Wise will have just one home game remaining when the team hosts Concord for Senior Day 2015.
