Storylines – Concord GameConcord has won three in a row and four of its last five contests entering Thursday's tilt with UVa-Wise. Most recently, the Mountain Lions used a 20-20
performance from Jametrius Wade to claim an 88-73 road victory over West Virginia State on Saturday. On the season, Wade is scoring 12.4 points per
game and corralling 8.6 rebounds a night. Wade is part of five Mountain Lions who are averaging in double figure scoring. Concord's Aaron Miller is
scoring a team-high 19.6 points a night which ranks fourth among all Mountain East Conference players. The Mountain Lions have used their ability to
put the ball in the basket to post a 10-5 record thus far. As a team, Concord makes 50.3 percent of its shot attempts which ranks second in the league.
About UVa-WiseUVa-Wise will look to halt a 14-game losing skid when the team visits Concord on Thursday. The Cavaliers are also winless in Mountain East Conference,
having been outscored by MEC competition by nearly 22 points a game. Most recently, Charleston rolled to an 85-48 victory over UVa-Wise
at the Prior Center. In the loss, the Cavaliers shot 32.1 percent from the floor and were out-rebounded 47-27 by the more physical Golden Eagles.

Blake Mellinger's team struggled to get the ball in the basket, making just four
of 32 attempts from distance. On the season, the Cavs are shooting 34.4 percent from the field and 30.3 percent from beyond the 3-point line. By
contrast, opponents are making 50.1 percent of their shot attempts and 39.1 percent of 3-point attempts against the UVa-Wise defense.
