Storylines – Wheeling Jesuit Game
The Cardinals enter the contest 5-3 overall and 1-2 in the Mountain East Conference. Wheeling Jesuit  University is led by Eric Siefert who is scoring 20.1 points per game and grabbing 4.0 rebounds per game.  Most recently, the Cardinals ran away with an 87-74 victory over Ohio Valley on Saturday.  In that contest, Siefert connected on five free throws and four 3-pointers to score a game-high 25 points while Kyle Ritz added 16 points and seven rebounds. Junior Tim Goff also assisted the pair with 14 points and 12 rebounds.   As a team, Wheeling Jesuit University is making 7.6 3-pointers a game and 17.4 free throws per game.  Overall, the Cardinals are scoring 84.5 points a night while allowing 78.0 points.  

About UVa-Wise
UVa-Wise is still looking for its first Mountain East Conference victory and is also looking to halt an eight game losing streak.  Freshman Philip Owens II is the team's leading scorer posting 11.2 points per game while Brian Sydnor is grabbing 7.8 rebounds a contest.  The Cavaliers split a pair of games last year against Wheeling Jesuit. UVa-Wise won the first meeting of last season 84-72 as the Cavaliers made 54.9 percent of their shot attempts from the floor and received a game-high 22 points from both Javon Moore and Deon Boyce, while Boyce added a game-high 10 rebounds. Wheeling Jesuit took home the victory at Wise. The Cardinals defeated the Cavaliers 73-70 as they made 55.6 percent of their field goals and received a game high 20 points from Siefert.
