Storylines – University of Charleston Game
The Golden Eagles enter the contest 11-4 overall and 6-3 in the Mountain East Conference. The University of Charleston is led by junior Aleksander
Kesic who is scoring 12.4 points per game and grabbing 6.3 rebounds per game. Most recently, the Golden Eagles shot 40.9 percent from behind the
arc and 85 percent from the line to defeat Notre Dame College 82-66 on Monday. In that contest, Chris Evans led the way for the Golden Eagles as
he went two for two from the free throw line and connected on two 3-pointers to score a team-high 18 points while junior Jevonte Hughes added
15 points and a game-high 15 rebounds. Junior Tino Ditrapana and Kesic also assisted the pair with 12 points each. As a team, the University of
Charelston is making 6.8 3-pointers a game and grabbing 38.7 rebounds per game. Overall, the Golden Eagles are scoring 75.4 points a night while
allowing 65.7 points.

UVa-Wise is still looking for its first Mountain East Conference victory and is also looking to halt a thirteen game losing streak. Freshman Philip Owens
II is the team's leading scorer posting 14.6 points per game while Brian Sydnor is grabbing 8.4 rebounds a contest. The Golden Eagles defeated the
Cavaliers in both meetings last year. On the road, UVa-Wise dropped a 79-67 decision, as the Cavaliers shot 43.1 percent from the floor and received
a team-high 25 points from Javon Moore. Deon Boyce finished with 16 points and a game-high 13 rebounds, while Matt Day added 13 points and
nine rebounds for UVa-Wise. At home, the Cavaliers struggled from beyond the arc to fall 72-71 to the Golden Eagles. The Cavaliers were led by
Moore. The junior finished with a game-high 23 points, seven rebounds, six assists and five steals. Boyce finsihed with 17 points and 16 rebounds,
while James Turner added 13 points and Matt Day finished with 12 points.
