STORYLINES – FAIRMONT STATE UNIVERSITY GAMEThe Fighting Falcons enter the contest 8-6 overall and 5-3 in the Mountain East Conference. Fairmont State is led by junior Jamel Morris who is scoring 18.0 points per game and grabbing 4.4 rebounds per game. Most recently, the Fighting Falcons came up a little short in a 94-91 loss to Concord University on Saturday. In that contest, Morris led the way for the Fighting Falcons as he went eight for eight from the free throw line and connected on five 3-pointers to score a game-high 29 points while senior Chase Morgan added 21 points.Senior Nick Harney also assisted the pair with 19 points and four rebounds. As a team, Fairmont State is making 7.8 3-pointers a game and grabbing 34.1 rebounds per game. Overall, the Fighting Falcons are scoring 80.7 points a night while allowing 78.4 points.

On the road, UVa-Wise posted an 82-77 victory against Fairmont State, as the Cavaliers made 46 percent of their field goal attempts from the floor and received a team-high 20 points from
Charles George.
Deon Boyce finished with 17 points and 10 rebounds, while
Matt Day added 17 points and nine rebounds for UVa-Wise. At home, the Cavaliers defeated the Fighting Falcons 77-74. The Cavaliers were led by Boyce. The senior finished with a team-high 18 points, a game-high 19 rebounds, two blocks and two steals. Day finsihed with 13 points and six rebounds, while
Javon Moore added 10 points and 10 rebounds.
