WISE, Va. --  The Rams had three players finish in double figures Saturday as Shepherd University beat UVa-Wise 80-65 at the Prior Center.

Morgan McDonald and Austin Cunningham both led the way for the Rams (10-4, 5-3 MEC) with a game-high 23 points. McDonald also added 13 rebounds, while AJ Carr finished with 12 points.  As a team, Shepherd shot 54.7 percent from the field and 50 percent from behind the arc.

Matt Day and Philip Owens II both led the way for the Cavaliers (1-12, 0-8 MEC). The pair both scored a team-high 19 points, while Day added seven rebounds. As a team, UVa-Wise shot 32.8 percent from the field and 35.1 percent from beyond the arc.

The Cavaliers will return to action on Monday against Fairmont State at the Prior Center.
