WISE - - Bassett High School's Ria Farley has signed to play collegiate golf at UVa-Wise. A three-time letter winner, Farley won the Coach's Award, the Academic Award and was on A/B Honor Roll for both her junior and senior years at Bassett.

The future Cavalier traditionally shoots in the 80s but has posted a career-best round of 77 while at Bassett. As a senior, she was her school's number one golfer after progressing from the school's number three golfer earlier in her prep career.

She is the daughter of Marshall and Martha Farley of Collinsville, Virginia. She is currently undecided on her intended field of study.
