STORY LINES

Deon Boyce continues his pursuit of the single-season rebounding record at UVa-Wise. The Pittsburgh native has collected 277 rebounds this season to move within 83 of the record set by Robert Spears in the 1993-94 season.
The Cavaliers will be looking for a season sweep of the Cardinals. UVa-Wise scored an 84-72 in Wheeling on January 5.
On the most recent three-game road trip, sophomore Matt Day averaged 13 points per game. The Buckhorn, Ky. native posted a pair of 15-point performances on the trip.
Thursday's game will pit two of the league's top three defensive teams in regards to opponent field goal percentage. The Cardinals rank second in the league at 45 percent while the Cavaliers rank third at 45.2 percent.
Five of UVa-Wise's final seven regular season games will take place in the Prior Center, including five of the next six games.
Wheeling Jesuit has two players ranked in the top six of the Mountain East Conference in scoring. Eric Siefert ranks fifth with 19.3 points per game while teammate Justin Fritts ranks sixth with 19.1 points per game.
Boosted by Justin Fritts league leading 5.74 assists per game, the Cardinals rank second in the MEC in assists per game at 19.89 a game.
