BRISTOL, TENN. – King University shot 54.8 percent from the field and forced 22 turnovers as the Tornado claimed an 85-45 non-conference victory over UVa-Wise on Monday.

The Tornado (4-1)  placed 12 players in the scoring column led by James Scales' game-high 15 points. King dominated in  the interior by outscoring UVa-Wise 46-4 in the paint and outrebounding the Cavaliers 41-26.

Tyler Maggard hit four 3-pointers en route to a team-high 12 points in the loss for UVa-Wise (1-4).

The Cavaliers will return to action on Thursday against West Virginia Wesleyan at 7:30 pm.
