WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. - - West Liberty University used a 12-2 run to open the game and never looked back en route to an 82-60 win over visiting UVa-Wise at the ASRC Center on Monday.  Emily Bucon came off the bench to score a game-high 21 points for the Hilltoppers who also received 21 points from Liz Flowers.

UVa-Wise (6-4, 2-4 MEC) received a team-high 19 points off the bench from senior Reynesha Archer and 11 points from Taylor Sandidge.  As a team, the Cavaliers struggled on the glass as West Liberty (6-6, 3-3 MEC) out-rebounded the club 53-31.

Eight different Hilltoppers dented the scoreboard in the victory as the team made 10 3-pointers and handed out 20 assists on 27 made field goals.

UVa-Wise will return to play on Thursday when the team welcomes West Virginia State to the Prior Center for a 5:30 pm tip.
