LOUISVILLE, Ky. -  Officials at the Mid-South Conference announced its annual All-Academic Team at the league's tennis tournament on Friday.  Five UVa-Wise men's tennis players were named to the team, the second most in the conference.

Michael Baker, Chase Cupp, Zachary Holcomb, Marc Huff, and Jonathon Saado were all given the award.  To be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must maintain a 3.25 grade point average on a 4.0 scale and must be at least a sophomore in academic standing.

The Cavaliers finished the season 6-9  after losing to Cumberland (Tenn.) in the quarterfinal round in the Mid-South Tournament.
