BUCKHANNON, W.Va. - - UVa-Wise forced 16 West Virginia Wesleyan turnovers and limited the Bobcats to 2-13 shooting from beyond the arc to post a 53-43 win at the Rockefeller Center on Thursday.
The Cavaliers (6-1, 2-1 MEC) received a game-high 17 points, seven rebounds, and three assists  from Taylor Sandidge while Reynesha Archer (11) and Katie Jo Lester (10) combined for 21 points in the victory.Â
West Virginia Wesleyan (2-4, 0-3 MEC) was limited to just 36 percent shooting and 12.8 percent shooting from beyond the arc in the first half. KiKi Devane finished with a double-double in the loss scoring 11 points and grabbing a game-high 11 boards.
The victory was third consecutive for UVa-Wise who will next play on Saturday when nationally ranked Glenville State College visits the Prior Center. Tip-off is set for 2 pm and you can watch the game live on www.uvawisecavs.com/showcase.
