STORY LINES

UVa-Wise will look to rebound from its first loss of the season. Previously, the Cavaliers were off to a 4-0 start, the best start the school has had since 2002-03.
After playing on the road on Thursday, the Cavs will play at home on Saturday less than 48 hours from the conclusion of the game at W.Va. Wesleyan.
Deon Boyce turned in a double-double at W.Va. Wesleyan. The Pittsburgh, Pa. native scored 14 points and grabbed 13 rebounds.
UVa-Wise will look to extend its home winning streak to four. Most recently, the Cavs posted a 74-70 win over Notre Dame in the Prior Center.
Javon Moore scored 20 points against W.Va. Wesleyan, it was the second consecutive game the junior scored 20 or more points.
UVa-Wise leads the MEC in scoring defense at 62.8 points per game and field goal percentage defense, 39.9 percent.
Glenville State leads the MEC in field goal shooting at 50.5 percent shooting. On the season, the Pioneers are averaging 84 points per game to rank fourth in the league.
The Pioneers have two players averaging 20 or moe points. Donte Morales, 21.2 points and Lamar Mallory 20.2 both rank in the top six in the league in scoring.
