The University of Virginia's College at Wise Athletics

Cynita Webb, a 5-foot-11 forward from Virginia Beach, Va. is averaging a double-double through the first seven games of the season by posting 13 points and 10.6 rebounds a contest.

A former Landstown High School star, she opened the season with 18 points and 19 rebounds against West Chester University before following the performance up with 14 points and 13 rebounds in a win over Millersville University.

In total, Webb registered four double-doubles for the month as she leads the Cavaliers in points per game and rebounds per game while ranking fourth in the Mountain East Conference in rebounding. The monthly award is the fourth of Webb’s career after earning the honor three times as a sophomore.
