Buster Henderson posted 28 tackles while leading the team with nine tackles for loss in the first month of the season. The junior earned Mountain East Conference Defensive Player of the Week following his team’s 35-20 win over Concord University. In the victory, Henderson tallied a team-high seven tackles while recording a career-high 4.5 tackles for loss. The Appomattox, Va. product has helped anchor a defense that ranks second in the league in total defense at 327.6 yards per game.
