Junior linebacker Zachary Blair has been named the men’s Cavalier of the Month for the month of September. Blair currently leads the team in tackles with 41. In the last two games against Shepherd and Glenville State, he collected 13 tackles in each game. Against Glenville State, five of his 13 tackles were behind the line of scrimmage. The five tackles for loss tied a Mountain East Conference single game record. Blair is also tied for second in both tackles and tackles for loss amongst all players in the conference.

An education major, Blair earned second-team All-Region honors as a sophomore in 2014.
