Zack Moore came to UVa-Wise after leading Pound High School to a state runner up finish; the Southwest Virginia native continued his success at UVa-Wise.
In four years, Moore was a three time All Appalachian Conference selection and as a senior he became the first men's basketball player in the history of the program to be named First Team NAIA All-American.
In his senior season, Moore captained the Cavaliers to a conference championship and a trip to the national tournament en route to becoming the school's all-time leading scorer with 2,348 points.
Today, Moore serves as the Head Boy's Basketball Coach at nearby Union High School.
