The University of Virginia's College at Wise Athletics

George, known to his close friends and associates as Pedro, is a 1972 graduate of The University of Virginia's College at Wise (then known as Clinch Valley College of the University of Virginia) with a degree in Business Administration. He holds additional degrees in Finance and Law from the University of Virginia. He is the President and owner of Pepsi Co, Inc. in Norton, Virginia. He was a past member of the UVa-Wise Foundation Board. Also, a member of the UVa-Wise College Board. He has been a longtime supporter of UVa-Wise Athletics, including donating all athletic scoreboards on campus. He was inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame in 2004 for Outstanding Service and Support.
